Every owner in the Buckhorn Valley HOA and the Aspen Ridge HOA is a member of the Buckhorn Valley Master Owner's Association. 

There are no dues for the Master Owner's Association. 

The governing documents for the Master Owner's Association outline the covenants and Design Review controls for the neighborhoods.

The Design Review, under the Master HOA, controls the covenants and rules of Buckhorn Valley HOA and Aspen Ridge HOA.  If there is a violation of the Declarations or Rules and Regulations, the Design Review will follow these steps to correct the violation:

     Section V(F): Other Restrictions Fines

• First Offense – Notice warning letter to Owner.  In this letter is a short (but reasonable) deadline for compliance and state that failure to take action to remedy this issue or any future violations will constitute an additional offense and will be treated as such in accordance with Section V(F) of the Rules and Regulations
  
• Assuming the issues are not resolved or if they are resolved and re-occur then a Second Offense Notice is sent out with a $100 fine
  
• Assuming the issues are not resolved or if they are resolved and re-occur then a Third Offense Notice is sent out with a $200 fine
  
• Assuming the issues are not resolved or if they are resolved and re-occur then a Fourth Offense Notice is sent out with a $500 fine
  

If you have received a violation fine, you may write an appeal to the Board of Directors explaining why the fine is not appropriate (if you have not broken the covenants) and email it to the Community Manager.  An appeal will be reviewed by the Board and an answer will be sent within 30 days, however, an appeal is not guaranteed to waive the fine.  If fines are not paid, liens may be filed on the property.

The Design Review Committee is a group of homeowners within the Buckhorn Valley Community dedicated to upholding our high building and design standards.  All changes to the exterior of the home or property must be pre-approved by the committee without exception.  Projects built without Design Review approval is subject to violation fines.
